The github-portal is NIH's fork of Microsoft's open source management portal. It gives anyone in the organization visibility into GitHub activity across the enterprise: repository creation, membership changes, and usage metrics all in one place.
The portal also maintains a ledger mapping GitHub usernames to organization accounts, handles self-service organization joining, and manages GitHub Enterprise Cloud licensing and compliance tooling at scale.
